Ultrafiltration units are basically a filtration process. It can be applied on water treatment or before osmosis by using ultrafiltration technique. Ultrafiltration modules are systems that serve as a complete barrier for bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms without the need for chemicals, with a membrane structure having a diameter of 0.01 micron.
